Hi, all; Glad I found this place.
I have just inherited a 60 year old house, which needs to be cleaned up for rental, rather quickly and inexpensively.
To save money, I have decided to do the interior paint myself, at least the bedrooms.
The walls are plaster, and were re-painted about 15 years ago, in an off white.
I want to paint it in a simple white as well. I am a little confused as to the quality of paints. Becuase this is for a rental I don;t want to put a lot on expense into the paint, becuase it is likely that a renter may only stay a year or two, maybe less.
So, I'm at home depot looking at the paints, and the prices vary quite a bit. I'm seeing 23 dollar/gallon for Behr Swiss Coffee, but 16 dollars for a comparable Glidden Flat white. I'm also seeing a 5-gallon drum of Glidden Flat white interior for $49. So, there is quite a price range here.
What would some of you recommend for painting a Rental, inside, in a white or off-white?
Your suggestions please!
Thanks!
