Review: Cigar Box for Plein-Air Painting
18:25

Designed to hold two small painting panels and your essential painting supplies, a 'cigar box' makes it easy to get organized for painting outdoors. It also facilitates bringing wet oil paintings back home again. You can either put it on a fold-up table (or balance it on a rock) or attach it to a tripod to work standing up.

This sturdy, well-constructed pochade box features a built-in tripod mount and comes with a wooden palette. It holds two wet 8" × 10" (20 cm × 25 cm) panels and works with many Guerrilla Painter accessories. Weighing only 3½ lbs (2 kg), you can take it anywhere with ease.

Mighty Mite Jr. Brush Washer — This is a lightweight, leakproof 2 oz (59 ml) plastic jar that is resistant to chemicals and includes a removable stainless steel screen assembly.

Adapter Set — This adapter set allows for working on 5" × 7" (13 cm × 18 cm) and 6" × 8" (15 cm × 20 cm) panels within the lid of the box.
