I have been drawing and painting since I could hold a pen (literally), and ended up studying visual art. I do not wish to do anything with my life other than to create. My problem however, is that I'm shy and self conscious and cannot promote my own work. Also, how do I know if I'm any good? Lecturers at the Uni where I studied made a point of breaking down students (probably because the students would be direct competition for them when they finished their studies). This left me a bit unsure as to my own abilities. |
